About Us
The Texas New Music Festival is a vibrant international summer music festival bringing contemporary aesthetics to the Houston community through both world-class performances and lectures, while providing career building opportunities for a broad range of international musical artists throughout various stages of their careers.
As a festival, a vision of the TNMF is to create further interest in the current trends of classical music within the local Houston community, and to create a legacy of art and heritage for generations to come. The Texas New Music Festival is a program of Texas New Music Ensemble.

Tuition Cost
One of our main missions at the Texas New Music Festival is to provide the greatest opportunity at the lowest cost possible. The 2023 TNMF has kept expenses at an absolute minimum to create an unheard of tuition cost of $1,000 for composers and $500 for performers and conductors. Our final round of acceptance is May 31st, so do not delay! At this moment, this tuition amount does not include housing or food.
