
TEXAS NEW MUSIC ENSEMBLE
A nonprofit organization dedicated to the enrichment of Texas communities through the performance of contemporary art music.

About the Festivals:
Located in the heart of America’s 4th largest city, the Texas New Music Festival runs from July 5th - 12th, 2026, at the Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston (MATCH) and brings more than 60 international composers, conductors, and performers to Houston. The festival features six concerts, as well as an array of workshops, guest lectures, and masterclasses. For composers and conductors interested in attending TNMF, applications are due December 1st, 2025.
The Texas New Music Festival - Mexico City Session will take place from June 12th to 19th, 2026, in Mexico City, Mexico. The festival will bring twelve international composers to Mexico City for eight days of concerts, workshops, masterclasses, and exploration. Two string quartet concerts will be presented to the public.

Texas New Music Ensemble is dedicated to the enrichment of Texas communities through the performance of contemporary art music.
Currently celebrating its 12th anniversary, TNME is a Houston-based chamber ensemble led by Director/Founder Chad Robinson.TNME hosts multiple concerts in Houston and Mexico City each year as part of their Conciertos Puentes series.
About Conciertos Puentes:
Conciertos Puentes: tendiendo lazos sonoros is a project organized by the Texas New Music Ensemble. Our goal is to present multiple concert works by living composers based in Mexico and Texas, with the purpose of strengthening cultural and artistic ties between both communities, as well as creating cultural bridges and professional connections that benefit artists on both sides of the border. Also present is a strong emphasis on the Latino-American experience in Houston. All concerts are presented annually in Houston and Mexico City.
